Lion Dance | 舞狮体验

People believe that the lion is an auspicious animal, the lion dance can bring good luck, so every Spring Festival and during other celebrations people will pray for luck in bursts of percussion sound of firecrackers by doing the lion dance. According to legend, the lion dance is introduced from the western regions in the earliest period and the lion is the Manjusri Bodhisattva's mount, the lion dance activities expanded into China with the introduction of Buddhism in China. Two performance styles including north lion style and south lion style in the one thousand years of the development process.
